Terry Pratchett Books.
Terry Pratchet is a British fantasy author most famous for his Discworld series of books the first of which (The Colour of Magic) was published in 1983. He published his first novel, The Carpet People, in 1971 which was also his first book for children. His writing style which consists of dry wit and humour pokes fun at the world of fantasy. His first adult fiction book, The Dark Side Of The Sun, was published in 1976 and this was followed by his second adult book, Strata in 1981. Strata took place on a large disc shaped world and the idea for a disc shaped world was later used in Discworld, his most popular series of fantasy novels. The main protagonist of the Discworld books is Rincewind, a cowardly wizard who quite often finds himself in dangerous situations. So far, 38 Discworld books have been released, some feature the character of Rincewind while others feature Death himself.
